The 18 January 2024

The Centaurus group (of which Maison Albar Hotels is a part) is working alongside the de La Forest Divonne family to renovate the Château de Divonne (Divonne-les-Bains) into a 5-star hotel and healthcare centre, due to open in 2026.

THE CHÂTEAU DE DIVONNE IS TO BE REBORN UNDER THE IMPETUS OF THE COMTE DE LA FOREST DIVONNE AND MAISON ALBAR HOTELS

DESTINATION DIVONNE-LES-BAINS

Divonne-les-Bains, located on the Swiss border just 15km from Geneva, was first recognised as a spa town in the mid-19th century. It benefits from a well-preserved natural environment, with a large part of its municipal forest forming part of the Haut Jura Natural Park, and its water renowned for its therapeutic properties. It is a popular destination for wellness tourism, green leisure tourism (golf courses, 270 km of hiking trails, theatre, racecourse, etc.) and business tourism (Geneva international airport 20 minutes away, international seminars such as the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the World Health Organisation (WHO), the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and the Geneva Motor Show).

A 5* HOTEL AND A HEALTHCARE CENTRE

This new destination in the Maison Albar Hotels collection will offer a 5-star hotel with 72 rooms, including 5 suites, a spa (treatment rooms, two swimming pools, sauna, hammam, fitness centre), a seminar area, a bistronomic restaurant, a bar and a Heatlhcare centre in a new annex to the hotel. The Centaurus group's aim is to bring the Château de Divonne back to life in all its splendour, respecting the history of the site while offering its guests (local and visiting) a complete and optimal wellness experience.
